Oh wow, this is so true. Ive done about 3 or 4 re-boots of my strips over the past few years, and the first strip is ALWAYS the hardest to get out. This looks superb! Plus you really hit the nail on the head. I guess all artists are just plain and simple Masochists.
Oi! Tell me about it! A webcomic is like a pet. You have to feed it every day and give it lots of love but it will still chew up your slippers and poo on the rug.
As an artist I totally understand how hard it is to continue doing anything on a schedule. Kudos to you! And I truly respect your ability to draw and create characters with emotion. I saw your add on “Better Days” and I absolutely love both this and that one. You and Jay Naylor have remarkable talent and I’m a bit jealous!
Keep up the good work! You’re wonderful – as you probably hear more than once a week.
I stumbled upon yer website from a Youtube link that caused youtube to freeze, and quite frankly it was like tripping over a pipe and landing infront of a 20$ bill.
It hurt at first, but then it got soooo much better.
I was pointed to this first “Broken Plot Device” comic and I found it to be hilarious… and all too painfully true. Welcome to the delightfully agonizing world of webcomicking. Goodness knows why we do it.
Anyone besides this wolf notice the mug changes in every strip? Clever.
Wonderfully animated. I too stumbled here from Better Days; your placement there is going to get you a ton of readers, methinks. Keep up the great work!
IM JEALOUS~!!!!
(this is excellen, btw)

…wait, what? Need coffee.
I haven’t heard the “pet pooing on the rug” analogy before, but it fits!

Everytime I see this comic I just have to laugh. I mean everyone just goes through that phase in life with anything for that matter
