But we all know that the Skinks in Warhammer would just blow-pipe the poor sod to death.

Great comic by the way. “Hop with all your fury” shall be added to my list of great quotes.

Woot! Warhammer is awesome, though I play Tyranids myself. Awesome comic, just found this^^

Any time you have 1 big thing and many small things, the many small things tend to be a bit evil towards the 1 big thing… WoW is a perfect example… Ever see 900 level 10 troll warriors rush Stormwind? Shoulda been on Bladefist 4 days ago…

“Hop with all your might” indeed hehehe

Fireborn, I agree. Small things vs big things is always fun. Ever tried hurling small alien critters by the dozen against a 30-foot demon? If not, you should try Warhammer^^

Haraio : I’m guessing you’re referring to Tyranids from 40K? ;) I just so happen to be slowly collecting a ‘Nid army… I stress the “slowly” part. Those little buggers are expensive! So fun to paint though. ^_^

ORKS IS DA BIGEST AND DA STRONGEST! WAAAAAAAAAGH!

I’m lookin forward to Warhammer Online. I don’t much play the tabletop. What got me in with the Warhammer stuff was Dawn of War for PC.

Fireborn – I’ll be excited for Warhammer Online when they put out the Lustria patch with Lizardmen. And if they port it to Mac ;)

Dual boot with Windows! Or get some kinda VM ware thingy or something! heheh That’s what I’m planning on needing to do in about oh… 3 weeks.

Liz, you’re collecting Tyranids too? O.O Wow, cool. I’ve been slowly building up an army for about three years, ever since the release of the 4th Ed codex. Have about 2600 points now, half of them painted… lol

Haraio : better off than me. Bought my first ‘nid in 2006, and I THINK I can pull 1,000 points now. I have exactly 6 gaunts and 1 fex painted. ;^_^ I can deal with my mordheim-sized Lizardmen band much easier because I can spend 3 hours on one model to make it look awesome. Can’t do that if you have a brood of 20 to paint. I’ve been meaning to slowly pick away at ‘em, but there’s just too many! Dern bugs…

Hehe, I’m trying to push my ‘painted’ batch up to 2,000 for an upcoming tournament. At the moment, I have four Warriors, twenty gaunts, 10 Genestealers, two Tyrant guards, a ravener and half a dozen spore mines left to paint. Guess what, only one week to paint them X_X Wish me luck. lol

    Whoa.

It must be a furry thing. Never in my life have I seen so many random people “just happen” to play Warhammer.

While I haven’t done anything with it for a long time, my brother has an army of Space Marines, and I personally have an Eldar army as well as Necrons.

By the way, check out Warhammer 40K: Dawn of War, Winter Assault, and Dark Crusade. Some truly top-of-the-line RTS action, with all the races you know and love. :) Dark Crusade is the best.

Full set of all three cost you 30 bucks new.

I have all the DoW games, and I’m looking forward to the sequel. It looks wicked so far, and I’m hoping they will throw in the ‘Nids too^^

You’re all going to hate this. GW has released a new version of Warhammer/Warhammer40K… and have pretty much rewritten ALL the codexes and Army Lists… Just in time to bugger up my carefully planned lizardman army, and my Marine Chapter (my own one, not any of the crapass official ones).

Is the title a Mighty Boosh Reference?

I only just came across this comic, and it is already made of Win. Also, grats on the fellow Nid gathers. I’ve got small army of my own, only about 1280-ish or so, almost 2K. Liz, the comic rocks, hands down.

Oh, army vs army tabletop games? I so wanna get into those, so far I only played games like DnD, single character – or character plus X number of pets/slaves/summons.
And yes, the situation is familiar: we’re doing our best to kill or at least harm the boss and it merely laughs at our attempt… Or the other way around, the disappointment on the GM’s face when we slay the mighty beast with one lucky diceroll. n .n

ow man i always wanted such table-top games , but they never were big in center europe. :(
