THEN. THEN. _THEN_. GODDAMNIT. ARGH. I can’t stand people that get this wrong! IF-THEN. PREFER-THAN. I prefer apples much more THAN I prefer oranges. IF I hate your grammar THEN I should correct it. This is a classic convention of horror films: No body believes the young people/awkward kid/town drunk until its too late. Just look at “Without Warning” or “Just Before Dawn.”
