That’s right. Today is the day millions of nerds across the world have been looking forward to both with anticipation (“Yay I get to make a sweet Deathknight and then go punch Arthas in his big emo face”) and dread (“God Blizzard, I was hoping to, ya know, see the SUN eventually”).

Before you ask, yes I am one of those nerds. Yes, I preordered the expansion from Amazon. I even got the collector’s edition. Though, in my defense, I payed the extra $30 to get the art book inside (Mmmm, sweet Blizzard art) and not so I can have a cute but otherwise worthless zombie dragon follow me around. Honest.

I won’t get to plug into Northrend just yet. As some of you may know, Midwest Furfest convention is coming up quick; Nov 20th is my flight out in fact. So my next week and a half will be split between keeping the comic up and convention prep, and then there’s the matter of the convention itself. I am obviously looking very much forward to going, far more than WotLK. It does bum me out a little that I won’t get to see the beginnings of the expansion along with my guild though. But I have priorities!

Back on MFF, if you are in or around the Chicago area, I highly recommend checking the convention out. It’s a modest sized convention with a really awesome group of artists and dealers attending, and it’s one I always make sure to hit up. I will be in the Artist Alley this year, meaning I don’t have a set location down. Still, fingers crossed I make their table lottery all 3 days, or at least 2 our of 3. If you’re attending, don’t forget to stop by and say hi to me so I don’t feel so lonely.
