One word summary: ROCK!!!
Last night (11/30) I got to see DragonForce live at the Electric Factory in Philadelphia. I went with Bob & our friend Aaron (who runs a game review site over at www.sophistgames.com, check it out), and we managed to get right up front on one side of the stage, close enough that I could have poked Herman Lee in the foot with a moderately sized broom if I’d wanted to. They played a lot of stuff from their first two albums, as well as maybe 3 or 4 from their new one, “Ultra Beatdown”. I couldn’t stop looking over at Bob, who had the biggest grin on his face!
I even got one of the guitar pics they were tossing out to the audience. I may have to be a nerd and make a necklace out of it.
In closing: Herman Lee is the man, DragonForce rocks, and I hope they come back to Philly soon. ^_^
PS: Some of you know DragonForce from Guitar Hero 3, but did you know they also made a guest appearance in Mario Paint?!?
